TopsyTurvy Hanging Tomato Planter
Wouldn’t you love to have delicious, fresh tomatoes whenever you want? Topsy Turvy planters allow you to grow amazing, juicy tomatoes with out all of the hard work! No more trekking out to the garden to gather tomatoes. With TopsyTurvy, you will always have fresh tomatoes just outside your door.
The Topsy Turvy tomato tree planter works so well because it keeps your tomato plants upside down. This allows gravity to carry water from the roots to the tomatoes, allowing you to grow some of the most plump, juicy tomatoes you have ever seen. In addition, the Topsy Turvey tomato planter acts like a greenhouse, causing the plant roots to thrive. The end result is amazing!
With this hanging tomato planter, you can enjoy fresh tomatoes all year round! Why pay outrageous prices for poor quality tomatoes at the grocery store? When you grow your tomatoes with the Topsy Turvy tomato planter, you won’t have to worry about worm damage or harmful pesticides. Best of all, you won’t have to do any weeding or backbreaking work!
TopsyTurvy looks great hanging above your deck, by your windows, and on the patio. You can even use it to grow cucumbers, zucchini, peppers, herbs, and more!

2Rip off! We bought 7 planters. Planted tomatoes, green peppers and squash. The plants grew beautifully but yielded not one single tomato, green pepper or squash.

3I bought the Topsy Turvy. The top has an opening which allows birds to get in. Both my friend and I had brid nest with 4 eggs in them. Hummm, maybe a screen over this hole could solve that problem. Needless to say, we couldn’t water our plants and kill the birds, so our plants died.

4I actually purchased topsy turvey from Home Depot for 9.99, this way I could by-pass shipping and pick out my plants/topsoil same day. I really didn’t need the tomato slicer or recipe guide as I am an experienced cook. I purchased two, planted a tomato plant and a red bell pepper plant a month and a half ago in north Georgia, and both are growing fine. You do need to read directions thouroghly and make sure you buy soil very low in nitrogen for the tomatoes, otherwise you will make lots of foliage and little fruit. Also it advertises you get big plants growing like crazy, but when you read the directions, it suggests putting two plants together and strongly suggests fertilizer. So it seems to me the tv ad pushed it’s planters a bit hard, when in actuality the tomatoes seen were two plants in one, well fertilized. My plants so far haven’t had enough time to yield any fruit, but so far, so good! I have a condo and the planters work quite well on my balcony in full sun.
