My Rottweiler who had hip dsyplasia loved it, but the Dogpedic waterproof liner proved NOT to be waterproof today when my severly ill dog was euthanized at home on her bed. As usual, after passing, her bladder let go. The vet was apologetic. I told her not to worry about it because the bed had a "waterproof liner". After all was said and done, I removed the suede cover and the "waterproof liner" only to find the foam mattress was saturated in urine. I was very upset. The actual bed is great. The "deluxe" option only adds more to the cost of the standard mattress as well as shipping cost. Overall thickness for a large size mattress is advertised as five inches and the mattress we received today was a total thickness of four inches... with the more expensive "deluxe" option. "Deluxe" was advertised as adding 3 extra inches to the standard mattress. What a joke. Do NOT order the “deluxe” option as it is a scam.
